PARTY SAFE

Party “Safe” is a term that you might have heard of before? We have used the term to describe a project that we’re doing in the North East to educate young people with the following two principles…

1…It is possible to have fun without alcohol or illegal substances.
2…If you do choose to partake in the use of alcohol or illegal substances we want you to know how you can look after yourself and your friends.

All the events and activities we run incorporate our two principles.

To educate young people and the community about these principles a team was formed at the beginning of 2007. In 2010 the team is made up of 21 young people and 1 elder from Scottsdale High School and the youth worker from the Council. We had a Party Safe training camp in March and have been planning our events for the year. Check out the pic's...

If you want to you can check out the CONFESSION BOOTH footage from our National Youth Week Party in 2009 it's on You Tube!

One if the things we promote is REGISTERING YOUR PARTY WITH THE POLICE.
